I'm working on a UI5 application, and seem to have run into an issue uploading files in IE9. Here is the breakdown of what I have tried so far:
1. Used the UI5 out of the box FileUploader control from SAP. This control uses a <form> post to send the file to an endpoint. In my case this is a restful service sitting on an R3 server. This service requires a CSRF token to complete a modifying request. I am able to get this token, but I am unable to force this token into the request headers of the form post.
2. Implemented a jQuery ajax request with the token added, following the suggestions of this thread. I thought I was home free until I tried it in IE9 and found that the browser does not use the File API, and is unable to access any details of the file. This effectively eliminates this solution as you have no payload to send through the service.
3. I have attempted to write a .NET page in between the website and the upload service. The file is posted to the middle page, the data from the file and the token is pulled out of the request by the middle page, and then an HTTPWebRequest is sent to the service. Unfortunately, this .NET Page is not sitting on the R3 server (obviously) so the SSO cookie that I am using between the original site and the services is not available to use.
So, can anyone help?
- Has anyone found a way to use the FileUploader control with IE9 (found a way to get the CSRF token into the request for the R3 server)?
- Has anyone come up with a different approach to uploading files to an R3 server with IE9?
- Has anyone had success with this "anti-XSRF cookie" discussed in this article?

We are using "BO version 4.0 SP05 patch 0",
In my WebI reports (accessing from BI launch pad) I can't able to see outlines for the tables. I can see gray space but no outlines.
But If I access the same report from "Rich Client", I can see the outline in "Rich Client"
Can someone help with this issue or work around for the problem with outline in Tables, that will be great.

Will we see the ODT (OData) database profile appear in PB15 Classic? Right now, I only see it in PB15.Net.
I've been able to create a simple app that retrieves data from an SAP Netweaver Gateway OData service thru a datawindow. So far, so good, and it works exactly as I expected it would. I was just wondering whether this is limited to PB.Net, or will that same driver be made available to PB Classic?
I'll be testing retrieval arguments, table joins, and create/update/delete operations next.

I am facing problem with postprocessing of Lockbox. During the postprocess, I get error message that states Customer * is not defined in company code. I have checked configuration and all is fine. Also, I checked Customer master data and did not any find any issue. Lockbox file is working properly in production clien in 4.7. I am only facing this problem with Dev box of ECC 6.06.

We use Crystal Report in combination with a stored procedure on the table ORDR for the marketing sales order lay-out.
We also create the DocKey@ parameter for the DocEntry.
The preview works fine when the sales order is added (saved) to the database. But when the sales order isn’t added yet, the preview shows an earlier document.
How can I fixed this?

We have a situation were the payment came from a B2B customer and was posted to a Domestic customer.
I check the payment lot, in the selection criteria there is BP and Bank account number of the B2B customer mentioned but the document has been posted to another Domestic customer....
I am zapped by this situation,this is very strange because this is not something that happens by a standard payment prog. Can someone tell me a situation when this can arise, or where can i check to find a root cause....

we have one PM order, WIP calculation in 2013.11 shows 20 USD, no accounting entry is generated,
then we run variance calculation in 2013.11 for target cost version 0, hit abap dump: runtime error: DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_unknown
SAPMKKS0, table VKKS0.
May I know how to resolve the error? if variance calculation is ok, does it generate accounting entry: Dr: WIP1(B/S) Cr: WIP2(P/L)?

I have troubleshoot the test connection for SAPOSS in SM59 few days and still yet to find any solution.
I have ensure that the user id and password is correct in SAPOSS and saprouttab is maintained correctly.
also, the port 3299 is open and able to ping 169.145.197.110.
i also try to reapply the cert in saprouter and ensure that the saprouter is running on correct user.
Please advise if you have any idea.

For the most part of my career, I have been working with State Bank of India (6 years) in different capacities. I want to convert hexadecimal values coming from a scanner to a string or number.
Example:
Value => 0x340x320x34 must result in 424
I used the site Convert Hex to String - Hex-to-String Online Tool - String Function to give me the proper values,
however I cannot find the equivalent (PFC) function for doing that.
I do not want to use database functions as this is a local application.

According to IDT product guides it supports Dynamic Time series functions, but I don't see any functions while creating dimensions in the universe,Basically I have to replicate FR reports in the business objects by hitting the essbase cubes directly, these FR reports have lot of YTD,QTD,YTG calculations which I need to recreate using business Objects.
Any thoughts regarding this, if you know the syntax for calculating qtd and ytd's please share the information.

We would like to configure sso (single sign-on) between SAP Enterprise Portal 731 and SAP PMM by Vendavo. The Vendavo application is running on SAP NetWeaver 720 SP4.
we have configured the Vendavo SAP NW AS java to accept logon ticket from SAP Portal system by manually uploading the certificate of the Portal system as a trusted system. However the sso is not working. I understand that the AS Java uses EvaluateTicketLoginModule to accept logon tickets for SSO. But Vendavo probably is using a different authentication policy configuration.
I looked at the SAP NW As java where vendavo is installed and it is using policy sap.com/PMM_VENDAVO*vendavo with login modules as follows:

com.vendavo.appserver.netweaver.security.jaas.VUserExpredcheckLoginModule REQUIRED

Should we added EvaluateTicketLoginModule in the policy for vendavo to accept login ticket issue from portal system? If so, in what order and with what flag? If adding EvaluateTicketLoginModule to the policy would not help then what is the recommended solution to setup SSO integration between SAP Portal and Vendavo application (running on SAP NWCE 720)?

I have learned a lot about Analysis for Office and SSO for BW and the BI Launch Pad in the past year. Now I just need to put them all together.
I am using Analysis for Office (A4O) 1.4.2 and Business Object for Enterprise (BOE) 4.0 SP4 Patch11. I am using SAP BW for the backend.
I am starting a blank A4O workbook and I insert a data source via the BOE login using a (OLAP) connection on BOE to get to BW. I save the A4O to the BI Launch Pad. Now…when I open the BI Launch Pad and open the A4O from the BI Launch Pad…I get a sign on screen for BOE. How/what do I need to set up to not get that sign on screen for BOE (I am already signed on to the BI Launch Pad)?
On a side note…I do not have to sign on to BW. That is taken care of via a token between BOE and BW. And I have SSO set up so that when I go to the BI Launch Pad…I do not see the sign on screen. I am authenticated via Windows AD. And my OLAP connection to BW on the BOE system is set up with SSO authentication.
For the BOE sign on screen I have checked the “Enable Single Sign for Windows Active Directory” but I can’t get it to work unless I uncheck the box and put in my password (See below). The error I get when I check the box and leave the PW blank is below also.
Any help would be much appreciated.
